Hi. I'm Brian and this is where I post my goals and accomplishments on SparkPeople.com. I love to hike, bike, run and be outdoors. I am on a journey towards health and happiness. Workout plan:
~ Darebee every day! (Darebee.com)
~ Tuesday, Friday- Run (40 - 60 minutes)
~ Monday, Wednesday - Strength & mobility workout
~ Wednesday, Saturday - Cross (hiking/biking/walking)
~ Thursday - Rest
~ Sunday - Long slow run

Meal plan:
~ Eat a mainly plant-based diet
~ Weekly meal plans
~ Daily journalling

~ Participate in the seasonal 5% Challenge

~ Stay connected to my Spark Friends

Personal Information:
I'm a 50-something technical writer, mountaineer, bicycler, hiker, illustrator, gardener, runner and father of one. I live in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle. I lost my wife in 2014 after an 11 year battle with cancer. I love dogs, but I live with a cat. We don't seem to mind.
