A journey of a thousand miles

Welcome. I'm Brian and this is where I post my goals and accomplishments on SparkPeople.com. I love to hike, bike and be outdoors. I am on a journey towards health and happiness. My biggest obstacle along this road is emotional eating.

I'm always making plans, setting new goals and challenging myself. I recently took up running and mountain biking. Stop by often to see what I'm up to. Leave comments or suggestions below.

Now you've done it! Herc wants to change careers and search for contraband tennis balls too!

Which is funny, because when we take a walk at night we cut across the high school and guess what he finds on (and off) the courts? I guess we could add to his resume: experience seeking out hidden tennis balls.

Thanks for visiting! The spring air felt great! ACHOO! (excuse me) The temperature reached the 50's! It was fantastic! This week we will reach the 60's. I can feel more motivation creeping back into my body.

Thank you so much Brian - that bowl of soup is just what I fancy - I'm going to make a French Onion Soup for lunch today (with lots of black pepper and garlic!)
