I'm embracing change in March. I have experienced a lot of change over the last few years. However, I still cling to many old habits that hold me back. It's time for a change.

10 Ways to Embrace Change*:
1. Don't just do something; sit there.
2. Mother yourself a little.
3. Ignore your inner reptile.
4. Silence your inner know-it-all, too.
5. Seek out new perspectives.
6. Try something new and slightly scary.
7. Be skeptical of common wisdom.
8. Learn to live with uncertainty.
9. Say "really?" a lot.
10. Shed your old skin.

Welcome to the world of texting! Darin & I are both introverts - so texting is infinitely more comfortable than phoning. But I have seen that phoning can be used when decisions need to be made quickly. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Brian!
S-n-o-w is a four letter word right now. So is the term Nor-easter! First Nor'easter we had flooding around town, none personally since we live at the top of a hill. Second one we lost power for 4 days. Third one we got over 12" of heavy, wet snow. Fourth one this MONTH is due Monday. Should be minor. HAHAHA.

Somehow the scale inched back up 4 pounds. I will blame it on the increased gravity levels brought by the storms.

Foot was doing well. Up to two miles hiking in boot. Activities are allowed as tolerated by pain, including rock-climbing...Yup I asked and received a strange look. lol I found out that shoveling is NOT good to do with my ankle. Neither are stairs. I can deal with limited shoveling and NO laundry. I will build back up soon... And rock climb May 19th with my son.

Herc had some time off from work because the nursing home was locked down during the flu epidemic. He gets another week or two off because he has another surgery tomorrow. He sliced his leg and I don't do stitches. I told my vet that the next time I see her, it had better be at the coffee shop and I will treat. I've blown my annual vet budget already this year.

How about you? I want to hear GOOD things! And see photos!

Welcome to the No S Diet team! We are small, but I like to think mighty. I think your new habit regarding the inner snake will be useful on the team. It's not quite as "tameable" as other wild things, but it can be caged. I also happen to believe that, though men are welcome just about anywhere on Spark, No S is one of the more gender-neutral teams in outlook. Just limit the worst offenders and get on with it! That's often a tack that men take anyway. emoticon
