A journey of a thousand* miles starts with a single step recorded on my Spark activity tracker

Welcome. I'm Brian and this is where I post my goals and accomplishments on SparkPeople.com. I love to hike, bike and be outdoors. I am on a journey towards health and happiness. My biggest obstacle along this road is emotional eating.

I'm always making plans and setting new goals for myself. I recently took up running and mountain biking. Stop by often to see what I'm up to. Leave comments or suggestions below.

* I've tracked more then 1,500 miles on SparkPeople.

I deleted those comments! - I guess once they're posted and received on a smart phone, perhaps they still show up! I think they're gone from your status feed here on the website. A lot of my work is clearing paperwork for other people :) after I posted it I realised that it might actually be your desk - and I was being very critical! They say when you point a finger at another person, you have four more pointing back at you!

(it's a very neat pile of paperwork!)

The book's title is printed exactly like that on the cover because it's a swear word ;) You can find the book easily enough by searching for the author.

Here's a little video you might like - it's only about a minute long - about Mindfulness.

Thank you for your lovely comments over the past few days! I'm a forest and mountain fanatic, I just love being in there, fresh air and trees make me a happy bunny. You are lucky to be surrounded by such a gorgeous location.
Renton, are Boeing based there? I know the name, but don't know why, I just keep thinking about Boeings, either that or I need a holiday.
I hope that you have FUN on your urban hike. As always, I love your pictures.
