Becoming healthier is the goal.

I'm done with diets. No up and down. No denying what I want. I've been on a road to a healthier lifestyle and I'm losing weight sloooowly - but at least I'm going in the right direction - and without actually dieting.

I'm making changes to eat healthier - and to enjoy healthy foods.

Yes, I'll eat some "junk" food, but an occasionlly cake won't kill anyone.

Thanks for your comments on my blog "day 3". I have the very same sign in my kitchen, it is one of my most common sayings, it is, what it is. I say it so often my mom got me a plaque at a craft faire. I agree with you, put things in their proper perspective, just not always that simple at the time! ---Pam

Good morning Patty, just popping by with a quick hello. emoticon
Hope you and yours are well.

The weather's glorious, has been over the Easter week-end except for Good Friday when it teemed down, it's so nice to get out into the garden where everything is beginning to blossom.
The cherry tree is awash with buzzing bees and the magnolia is magnificent.

My arthritic knee has suddenly decided to flare up pretty badly (why does it always do it when you least expect it?) so l'm going to sit on the bench near the pond and admire the garden instead of pottering about, l'll maybe get a bit more of my sampler done or read a bit...either way l'm going to have a lazy day! emoticon

Thanks for your comment on my blog "where we we live". You are so right. When I was young I had energy, and a thyroid and I was on the go all the time, It does take more effort at this age and energy level. However, I have a LOT more energy since I eat right and exercise. Though the scale is moving super slow, I feel so much better and I'm really grateful for that. Plus my blood pressure and cholesterol are fabulous! Have a great day. ---Pam
