Since late June, I have been tracking nutrition and fitness. Results are coming in as I have lost 27 pounds, several inches from my bustline, hips, thighs, arms and waist, and dropped a clothing size. My family, even my husband, is being very supportive. Thank you for commenting on my blog "Woohoo! My ankle is healing." When my ankle injury started, I used the spark web search for my 1 SparkPoint to research up on it. Since I could limp, I didn't need to see a doctor, but was told it would take a few weeks to heal and to follow RICE. It said if I wasn't seeing any improvement in a few weeks, I would need to see a doctor so I've been following that and wearing an ACE bandage and it's helping. I have found out these last 2 days that if I walk too much, the pain starts to come back. It will be like a twinge so definitely not 100% yet, but yes, I'm learning that I need to take injuries seriously so I can heal.

Thank you for your comment on my "demoralized but moving on" blog. Thanks for sharing your experience - I know I'm not the only person struggling, but it's nice to hear from someone going through it too.

Yep, I definitely am more of a tackle-the-goals kind of person than run-from-the-goals type. It's not actually doing it that's the problem - it's doing enough of it everyday to see the results. I think age and sedentary work environment have combined into a new challenge for me....the workouts and nutrition regimen that was more successful in the past isn't cutting it now. I've been mixing things up, trying to find a good path again, but so far no luck. So I am focusing very diligently on the basics (exercise, nutrition, and tracking).

Thanks for your kind comments on my blog.
I have cut my journey down into bite size pieces so that I do not get too overwhelmed. 4.5lbs will take me down to 140lbs/10stone. About another 10lb needs to go after that.
Really glad to see you back. I know how difficult it can be when you are so busy and often struggle to fit exercise into the day. Together we can do it.
