I will celebrate my body - no matter what shape it is!

I'm done with shame and guilt and self-doubt. I can deny myself food and chastise myself until I hate myself (trust me, I've done that for years), but I end up overweight and depressed.

I've recently had some serious health problems and it's made me realize that my body is not a thing to be hated or shamed - it's a thing to be celebrated and honored and cared for!

Yes, I'd love to be thinner - but I'm not going to wait until then to start loving myself, my arms, my legs, my hips - and yes, even my chin(s). Life is a gift. Our bodies are amazing. I'm going to redirect my energy from wishing my body were different to respecting it as it is now while working to treat it with care.

I'm going to move more (without hurting myself) and fuel my cells with healthy options. And I'm going to do it not because I hate myself, but because I love myself.

My plan for now:

have whole foods with lots of fruits and veggies for breakfast and dinner. Find quick and balanced options for lunches that are easy to pack and plan.

My workout is 60 minutes of elliptical 5 days a week (or more if I find the energy/time/motivation).

The most important part of my program is consistency. I want this to be my lifestyle, not a whim.
