Thank you for asking me to be your friend, I never mind a new friend who is on the same path as me. Well don't get over whelmed with my workout plan. I don't do all that stuff everyday, I only do what I can and get moving forward. I really just did it so that I have something to work towards and to have a guide line. Well talk to you later.
Hi Becky - saw your post on the Virtual Walk/Run/Cycle thru US @ exercise.lbl.gov thread .. if you click on the team icon (the US map) it will take you to the site we're using. Sign in and you can pick an exercise partner based on your goals. I am walking 5mi/week across since I have a bad back and that's about my limit right now! Hi - thought I'd respond here instead of on your thread.
I really just cut back on what I ate - and made better food choices. I try to stick within the calorie range Spark suggests - and if you look at my tracker it's not always with the healthiest of foods. I decided early on I had to do something that I can continue - so depriving myself wasn't something I wanted to do. I've switched to wheat things, use olive oil, get lean meats - but I eat almost everything I ate before.
Planning and portion control has helped me - and it's something I can do for my life time. Not eating ice cream wasn't something I could do.
