Spring 5% challenge

It's been a long, cold, snowy winter & I have some hibernation weight to lose! I've been in challenges before with some success. Although my weight has been pretty steady for about 2-3 years, it's not where I want to be.
I just bought a fitbit zip. It will be a good tool for keeping me moving on my work days.

My Goals:
~Lose 8-9lb during the spring challenge

~Continue to improve my core strength. My goal is to stabilize my back & avoid another injury.

My Program:
~Cardio 3-4x/week

~core strength training 4-5x/week

~Aim for 10,000 steps/day.

~Sparkpeople diet, most importantly staying in my calorie range.
