Gearing Up for Spring!

Update: 3/8

Ah, daylight savings. The bane of any good exercise program. Makes it feel like you're getting up 2 hrs early to workout instead of 1 hr. Then you're tired from the early morning so you want to snack and not exercise in the evening. *sigh*

I plan to make this a good daylight savings, though. I'm going to CELEBRATE daylight savings by getting up at my usual time and working out in the morning. Yay!!

Thank-you for your opinions and sharing on my blog. I agree and understand your perspective on the issues of obesity and reasons that the general public finds it difficult to move past the discrimination. I totally agree that the media plays up the unhealthy side of obesity and as such, like alcoholism and drug addictions, many folks pull away thinking "you choose to be unhealthy, deal with it." Recently I saw on news and in magazines the other side - how those who are heavier are emerging with health, strength and endurance. Let's hope those types of articles and research get equal airtime to the ones on the negative side.
