My Program:
2016 Fall 5% Challenge:

-Exercise 4-6 times per week, 30-45 minutes per day. Walk, elliptical, yoga.
- Strength training: 2x per week.
- Stretching: every day after aerobic exercise.

- yoga 1+ times per week

- meditate 3x per week

- minimize sugar and alcohol (once/week for alcohol, one daily treat)
- Work through the Beck Diet Solution book. (began June 2016).
- Understand connection between feelings, needs and emotions,and food.

Personal Information:
Born in Kansas. Grew up in the SF Bay Area. Living in the Sacramento, CA area which I love. Married with two mischievous yet loving kitties. Worked in public service for 26 years and proud of it. Recently retired and working on taking care of myself and finding out who I am after being work-focused for much of my life.

Other Information:
I love to run but am currently recovering from a stress fracture (as of March 2016). I hope to be able to run again, but currently am walking and doing other types of activity.Other things I like: being outside, the ocean, the mountains, animals, especially our two kitties, reading, watching movies and TV series, spending time with my good friends.

    Oooooh, I see the confusion. That was .8 (point 8) lol. For me that was a lot. I wish it was 8 miles though. :)

    I absolutely love LOVE your comment dear one! And yes, I am so partial to those dear Goldens. My cousin takes her golden to the library and the kids read to Angie, it is just adorable what goes on! I also do love to write my blogs, it warms my heart that people seem to relate what I sometimes write. The ring that my daughter now wears is vintage, it was her great Grandmother's ring. And what a tribute to her now that my daughter can enjoy wearing it as well. All is good, crazy, but good. And Lucy Lou is a happy camper tonight. So that makes me really happy. love and hugs, fredie

    Yikes indeed! You know a lot of this is more mental than physical too. We both have to have our heads in the game! I'm doing OK. Busy workweek last week got in the way of my training, but I got 3 miles in today! Getting back on track!
