Trying....Again

Hi! My name is Lyne, 33, and trying again to loose weight. I lost almost 50 pounds the first time I came to sparkpeople, but "fell off the wagon" several years ago. In that time I've gained 40 pounds of what I lost. I also had a baby in the last three years. I had lost all the baby weight, but when I went back to work I gained that back as well. I'm almost now back to wear I originally started. I'd like to loose the weight to get healthy, but to also be able to play with our son as he grows ...

I'm also having trouble fitting exercise in with an toddler. I get up at 5:30 and don't sit down until around 9pm...very little free time for me. I was exercising at a gym on my lunch hour, but I was cut from 60 minutes to a 30 min lunch. I couldn't even get to the gym and back in that time so I'm struggling to find the time to exercise again.

Thanks for the friend ad! And I'm so glad to give you hope. For sure you have hope and yes, you can do this. You can, you can! I'm cheering for you. emoticon I know its a tough/rough go at times, and the journey can see daunting especially when starting out, but for me I knew I just had to start somewhere because I was soo scared of how unhealthy I was. I finally stood up to the plate to take responsibility for myself & my choices. And I'm so very thankful. Its been such a ride, so rewarding and so much learning & blessings! Your journey will be amazing and unique, because you are just that...and more...you are someone precious & valuable worth a loving!!! emoticon

Hey I saw your post about wanting to do yoga but felt you couldn't because of the girth. My yoga teacher is actually a 200+ pound lady and carries a lot of weight around her tummy, but she started doing vinyasana yoga (the easy going kind). And I started yoga after a intense knee surgery. Basically, my point is take it at your own pace, after all that is what yoga is all about.

Hi! It seems like we have a lot in common! I also have a toddler (14 months) and I get up crazy early like you because I'm a teacher. It a hectic life but we will handle it better when we make time for good nutrition and exercise. I'm here to support you any way I can! Congrats on your 13 lb loss and 21 days of lots of water! I need to do that! I'm a diet soda addict.
