I want to walk consistently 3 times a week for 30 minutes, doing stairs as part of my walk.
I do Water Aerobics for 2 hours 3 times a week. The first hour, I can do any exercise I want so I stretch, walk and run in place in the water for 30 minutes. I also watch what I eat - no fried food, no white rice, bread, and only an occasional side dish of potatoes. I eat plenty of fruits and veggies and good protein in small amounts.
I am from Albuquerque, NM and I am retired but keep busy with exercising, lunch/brunch with my friends, visiting my daughter, cooking and housework and attend church regularly. I love my laptop and being able to get such good inormation as on this site.

Hi Betty, thank you for stopping by and visiting with me! I would love to have a water aerobics class here in the desert, but for some reason, there are none. I suppose because almost everyone here owns a pool! Well, that is, except me! I will have to research it more and see if maybe I can locate something! Thank you, Betty, for updating me on how you're doing. Yes it is a bit of trouble having to leave something out of our diet, but if it means better health, then so be it! I had a terrible time with dairy for a while there, then I started drinking Organic milk/dairy products and it helped a lot. Don't have the digestive disturbances anymore!
