Hey all, I have been a member of spark before but have decided after gaining about 35 pounds in 1 year I needed a fresh start. I am the heaviest by far, that I have ever been in my life. I'm 25 years old and became a mom to a wonderful daughter 2 weeks after my 20th birthday! She has now entered kindergarden and I started college fall of 2011. TIME OUT- these are my goals revised for now- slow and steady (as of 2/15/13
UPDATE : 3-27-13 (my birthday) okay so I'm not below 150 yet..but I weighed in yesterday at 150.9 pounds! I'm so excited!

Goal One. Lose 8 pounds. That's 5% of my weight.
Goal two. Lose 8 MORE pounds. That's 10% of my weight.
Total first goal- 16 pounds.
That puts me at about 144 pounds. I wish to lose this by my birthday on March 27th.

*January*
week 1: 1/2-1/8 -4lbs :)
week 2: 1/9-1/15

150lbs-wear my birth stone ring again that just recently stopped fitting (been wearing it since the 6th grade!)

My Goals:
-to get to wear my birthstone ring again
-to get rid of half my wardrobe that will eventually be way to big
-start wearing all my awesome small clothes that are taking up space in my dresser drawers rendering my dresser useless!

My Program:
-Trying to stay within my calorie range
-exercising Monday-Saturday (or 5 days of cardio at least, and 4 days weight training)

It seems that the things we crave during our TOM tend to be salty, and these things just compound that water weight gain that comes with that week anyway..we are women, and we have these cycles--if you have to have something--try to steer away from high sodium choices.
