I did well on spark until the end of June 2013, then life got tough and I lost control for a while. I put on 9pounds. But, according to my motto ~ eliminate every pound that sneaks in immediately ~ I am back starting January 2014 to do so!
It took me almost a year to get back to 132 pounds on November 14. 2014. Yay!

I am so glad most of my workout videos are low impact or demonstrate a low-impact option. I have strength training videos too. I am enjoying breaking those out again as I really neglected it for the past six months because all I wanted to do was RUN. I'm trying not to miss the running, but I tell myself that I have to do this little detour so I can get back out there quicker. I'm a little scared what the doctor may say, but I'm not letting myself think about that yet either. Appointment is tomorrow and then I won't have to wonder any more!

Hi Barbara,

Thanks for reading my "Pedaling a Bulldozer: Fat Bike Ride" blog. I am careful in snow. For the most part, Colorado snow is fluffy and dry. Ice on the other hand, which can be under the snow, is an unseen hazard.

Fortunately, icy conditions rarely exist where I live. Colorado is actually a high desert. Cold sunny days are frequent during the winter.

I took a look at your bio. Congratulation for pursuing your passion for music. You have an interesting life.

Thanks, Bruce
