Well hello there! I have been up and down on the weight loss roller coaster for so long now. I'm working towards my goals one day at a time.

2014 Weightloss

Starting Aug 1st
Starting weight: 290.6


Well I had a few things going on in 2012 like a big move & a new job & I let those things set me back on my weight loss journey. Over the course of the year I have gained back 30 lbs. :( I'm back & ready to finish this journey. I will hit my goal weight by the end of next year before being a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding!

Hi my name is Angela and I need to lose about 170 lbs. I've been overweight my whole life and have constantly battled it; unlike a lot of people that were once thin and gained weight in their later years. I think I've missed out on a lot in life by being this way. I'm tired of feeling like I'm missing out! I'm tired of avoiding pool parties or trips to the beach because the word "bathing suit" alone nearly has the power to send me into a panic attack. I'm tired of not being able to go to an amusement park because I'm worried that my tush won't fit in a seat. I'm tired of paying twice as much for clothes because they're having to use twice as much fabric to cover my a$$. I'm tired of people always telling me how pretty my face is instead of telling me I'm just plain pretty. I'm tired of seeing in-shape, beautiful women and WISHING I was them. I want to be called hot and I want people to be jealous of me for once. I am going to work my butt off because I want this and I am going to do it!

I've done a LOT of different diets most of which were unsuccessful; I've dieted down and lost about 50 lbs before but just ended up gaining it back plus some. I'm tired of gimmicks, hidden secrets, and fad diets. I just want the cold hard facts about diet, exercise, and nutrition. I feel like I've learned enough about it now where I can make the best decisions for my lifestyle and goals and adapt a plan I can stick to and be successful with.

I watch a lot of movies. My favorite genre is horror/sci fi but I will watch anything.

I also love reading. My favorite book (so far) is The Time Travelers Wife. I'm constantly reading at least one book; usually 2 or 3 at a time. lol

I've recently really gotten obsessed with makeup and hair stuff. So don't be surprised if you see a lot of that stuff as my rewards.
