Welcome to my Spark home

Welcome to my Spark page. I am 63 years old and a retired speciaI education teacher (non categorical preschool).
My husband and I have a 3 year old rescue beagle named Buster. He is a bundle of energy and makes us laugh. He has eerily similar traits that we saw in our last 2 rescue beagles. He's very sweet and lots of fun for us.
Our daughter, husband and her 3 children (my adorable grandchildren) live about 25 minutes from us. They also have an old rescue beagle. I am so ...

Our son is married to a great woman. They have his rescue beagle (see a pattern in our family?) and her two cats. They live about 10 minutes from us but are looking for a larger place! Hopefully, they won't move too far!
I joined Spark in December 2009 and, like everyone, life has thrown me some curves as well as blessed me in many ways! Although I struggle with consistency, my main struggle seems to always be with exercise. It seems I do fine for awhile and then I get off track. I always go back to the basics but it does get discouraging.
I'm trying to focus on being a healthy me with the energy to have fun with my family!

Yes, but the flowers are always kind of cycling. The one that was yellow Easter morning didn't turn red until this morning. That's how you can see both colors at once on a tree--which confused me and Gilda greatly when we first started studying that tree. One nice thing is that, once a tree gets on a roll, it does this all year long.

Ian made it home and stayed longer than usual, though had wanted to leave earlier. He was there 3.5 hours or so. He took home 2 foil containers of foog plus 2 plastic containers, an end table, a pressure cooker, and pressure canner. LOL. And some small things he lad left in his room by mistake. Seems like every time he comes home we have a list of things he needs. It saves him money as we have too much stuff.

I have allergies too which are triggering my asthma. Hate it. And I'm tired all the time these days. Wondering when or if I will feel well again.

We have not heard anything yet. Hopefully he hasn't forgotten. We seem to be the last thing on his mind these day. The old, decrepit, senile parents. LOL. i sure hope he shows up or we will be eating ham for days!! LOL.

Hi Beth, I'm a bit behind in my sparking so I just noticed your comment on my blog. I'm so sorry you are under the weather. I hope you feel better soon and have a lovely Easter!
