Want to stay healthy and active

I have a habit of losing faith in myself when the chips are down. Sparkpeople is a wonderful place to turn to when I need a pick me up. Ideas abound on how to stay active, fit, and grounded. I desire to become more involved in fitness and in life in general.

Having said that 2013 was not a year in which I was fully committed to my plan. I normally do a lot of walking, but I neglected to do other forms of exercise that are equally important.

My 2014 goal is to engage ...

My 2014 goal is to engage in the activities in which I joined as a team member. I signed up, now I want to participate. I want to see results on the scale, my trackers, and my performance.

My Goals:
To become more active. Getting back to dancing is one way I hope to do so. Walking, hiking, strength training will be added to the routine.

My Program:
Right now I walk at least 5 miles a day. I would like to be more committed to strength training and running.

Personal Information:
I enjoy travel, dance, long walks, hiking, photography, writing, cooking, getting together with friends, and reading.

Thanks for the spark goodie and your support for my consistency award. It seems that I go around and around in circles while tracking everything and not exactly the best tracking at times. My heart isn't all the way in it, but yet I don't want to quit SP. I'm too scared of gaining it all back if I do!! Thanks again and hugs to you!!
