My name is Beth and I am the mother of 2 wonderful young men and a grandmother to 5 incredible grandchildren, ages 15, 13, 12, 10, and 6 years. and 3 wonderful step-grandkids, ages 18, 15, and 14. I live in the southeastern US. I am working hard to change my focus from "yoyo dieting" to living a healthy lifestyle. I am looking to SparkPeople to help me with this.

Thanks- I just was going with the program recommended which are all healthy carbs. They consider beans a carbs and I have those every day. I'm trying 6 carbs the next 3 days- and they're going to be things like double fiber bread, oatmeal, beans, and brown rice. I may eventually count the beans as a protein.
