need to get healthy

I thought I was just getting older when I found it hard to get moving in the morning and just getting off the couch seems to be getting harder every day. Now I know that I can change all that by eating healthier and loosing some weight. I bought the spark book have read it and have found spark to be the most sensible program I have ever found. 3 days ago my husband found out he is typ 2 diabetic now I know we will do just fine with spark and will be very glad when spark adds diabetic food ...

I live in INDIANA use to farm seed corn husband had a heart attack and lost leg from complications so we are retired now and keep busy with other things have been over weight all my life and tired of yoyo diets! GO SPARKS!

I love camping! We want to take a road trip real soon probably up to the michigan macanick bridge and we camp along the way it is soo fun and refreshing to get away from it all, even for just a little while!I make sure i have low calorie snacks and LOTS of WATER even when I eat things I know I shouldnt I know the water is a BIG help in staying full and washing some of the wrong choices OUT! LOL HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!! emoticon

Happy Weekend! Thanks for being such a great friend and for all the encouragement. We are camping right now, so I am going to try and get alot of exercise in and drink my water like you suggested. emoticon

Hey! Sorry, haven't been with it the last few days. Got alot going on with DCS right now, and have been sooooo stressed out about trying to get custody of our nieces. I have been doing terrible with my diet. I eat when I am stressed out and this week has been so very stressful. Hopefully I am gonna be able to get back on track. Thanks for checking on me. Hope you are having a good week.
