I found this wonderful website and I decided to stay and benefit from all the resources and support that it offers. I am working on improving my eating habits and I am losing weight in the process. I found this wonderful website and I decided to stay and benefit from all the resources and support that it offers. I am working on improving my eating habits and I am losing weight in the process. I love that with this program I am accountable to myself. Let's not forget my food tracker which can be a very tough partner. "His motto" is "if you eat it you enter it". That helps me avoid food I should not be having since I do not feel like even bothering with looking it up, wasting my calories on it and having to see it on my list at the end of the day. I like that there is no public weighing, no peer pressure. I have a long way to go and I am doing the best I can. Starting weight: 202 lbs. Goals: 10%: 181.8 (20.2 lbs): done. 10%: 163.62 (18.18 lbs): done. 10%: 147.26 (16.33 lbs): done, 9/12/10 Initial goal: 146 lbs. 10%: 132.56 (14.7lbs): 132 lbs! 1/15/11 done. 10%: 119,36 (13.2lbs): in progress. My Goals:
I am working on developing and maintaining a healthier relationship with food. I want to be fit and healthy.
My Program:
I am tracking my food very carefully after measuring all my portions. I am more aware of the nutritional content of what I eat and I try to balance the nutrients so that I do not fall short on protein and avoid being too high on the fats. I joined C25K and started jogging. I am balancing my meals, I am not feeling hungry and I am loosing weight. I am very happy to have found Spark People. Thank you Chris, SP staff and fellow members!
Other Information:
OK so the little tyrant convinced me to start exercising. My tracker (the little tyrant) said that I needed to start my cardio and that I needed to burn 230+ calories today. I went walk-jogging and burned 257 calories (according to the tyrant eh tracker). I am very tired now...
