Journey to a Healthy Life

Hello everyone!
I'm Britt & just got back on this site again. I am determined to make some big changes in my life in the area of my health & fitness. I am in nursing school and know that my patients will be looking at me as a role model of health. How can I talk to someone about living a healthy lifestyle if I am not trying to live one as well?

I am in nursing school and know that my patients will be looking at me as a role model of health. How can I talk to someone about living a healthy lifestyle if I am not trying to live one as well?
This time around I am trying not to focus so much on the number I see on the scale but rather how I FEEL. I want to build that long, lean muscle and as we know muscle weighs more than fat, so there is a possibility I may see the scale go up but look thinner than I did before.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to look at my page and any encouragement would be great!!

My Goals:
1. To not worry so much about the number but how I FEEL and look. **Remember muscle weighs more than fat**

2. Track everything I eat, and workouts I accomplish.

3. Deepen my relationship with Christ b/c through Him all things are possible.

4. Keep focused on my nursing school work.

My Program:
I LOVE Chris Freytag, her workouts are AMAZING! She focuses a lot on strength with cardio bursts.
Walking more often-as my dog and I need it.
Using Sparkpeople videos and challenges.
Denise Austin workouts.

Personal Information:
I'm Britt, a 28 yr. old who went back to school to become a nurse. I know nursing can be a hard field on your body and I want to make sure I am in the best shape possible. Plus, I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes just a couple of weeks ago and know I need to get myself in gear so I do not develop diabetes.

Other Information:
In my free time I:
Read fantasy novels.
Watch movies w/ my hubby.
Give TONS of attention to my dog, Loki.
Write stories.
Swim.
Play video games.
