Welcome back and congrats on choosing health.

I wrote this quote down the other day from the book What Color is Your Parachute by Dick Bolles. I typed it up for you so I could post it here. I find it inspirational, I hope you will too:

Your blog on the 22nd said your immune system is weak. I can tell you that eating more natural foods and avoiding the processed stuff really can help to improve your immune system.

Some other tips are to track not just the BASICS - fats, carbs, protein, and sodium - I have found that tracking other nutrients and trying to make sure I have enough, magnesium, calcium, iron, selenium, etc, means that I am watching to keep things balanced and healthy. I am NOT perfect and tend to lose slowly, and erratically BUT the health benefits start showing up within weeks of getting serious about avoiding processed foods and unhealthy choices. I also NEVER say NEVER and do NOT consider any foods BAD BUT I do make sure to make CONSCIOUS choices about what I eat.
