Awaken your spirit to adventure;
Hold nothing back, learn to find ease in risk;
Soon you will be home in a new rhythm,
For your soul senses the world that awaits you.

Word for 2016.
My word for 2016 is "present." Present to do what needs to be done for my health, present for others with ways to help, present to our Creator to answer His call, whatever adventure that leads to. For me, it simply means showing up. Being there with mindfulness and focus. I want to end 2016 feeling good about my choices made during the year.

Here is to 2016 Sparkfriends.

    Hi Bill. Have been wondering how you are doing and wanted to stop by with some emoticon emoticon . You are doing great in the challenge. Keep up the great job. Hope it's not getting too cold up there yet. We have been having lots of rain and much cooler weather. Even had our first frost. Stay warm.

    emoticon I missed your day to shine, my back really had me out of commission for a while. I am so envious of your short trip to Lake Michigan, I had that growing up in Door County but now we have to drive for 21/2 hours to get back to "my" water. You are so right about volunteering giving us a purpose, good for you ! I hope you had an emoticon day in the emoticon emoticon and that you are still feeling the glow from all the emoticon this team doles out so readily.

    Great job on working toward your goals! Have you read Endurance by Lansing? If not, you should. I think you'd enjoy this true life adventure a lot. Shackleton is at the top of my list for heroes and great leaders. I'm a little late to catch up on clover spotlight visits. emoticon

    emoticon on your Week #3 Weigh In

    Thought for the Week: Courage doesn’t always roar,
    sometimes it’s the quiet voice at the end of the day
    whispering I will try again tomorrow. -Mary Anne Radmacher
