I have been around since 2007, lost more than 50 lbs in less than two years, then regained most of it when I quit smoking in December 2009.
I am trying to re-define what is healthy for me now – I am not back to my lowest weight yet, but my body composition has improved drastically: My muscle to fat ratio is considered healthy, and my overall fitness is good. I am not quite ready to go into weight maintenance yet, I still want to lose 10 to 15 lbs, but I am quite happy with the improvements.
I started at 201 and intend to end up at 146 pounds, bringing my BMI back into the normal range. I used to be obese, with a BMI of 33.5.
I try to stay with my recommended calorie range, without actually going on a diet. I love veggies and fruit, seafood and lean poultry, I just have to cut down on the extra fat and sweets I occasionally crave for. I bought a fitbit in July 2013 and walking 10,000+ steps a day has greatly improved my health and well-being.

Hello - so good to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by my blog. The dressing goes in the bottom and then you build up from that. This blog has the best picture of how to layer stuff. I used it to as a guide to build mine.

Ray went into the hospital on Sunday and we just got back last night. He had a rough day today but I will get back to posting on the walk as soon as possible.
How did your visit with your Dad go? I wish I could still see my parents. They made me crazy and now I would give most anything to be driven crazy again.
