    Yes, I have thrown the rest of the protein brownies away....sigh. The positive side about them is that it took forever to chew them (keeping me busy) and it filled me up wonderfully, but its jell-like mass it produced just wouldn't go down... I felt like a cow chewing its cud. emoticon

    I'll have to try avocado oil. For now I'm not craving sweets and will avoid them until Thanksgiving outside of the coffee/tea...by then I'll have a better grip and can modify recipes or make very small portions.

    Thanks, you too!I haven't really tried coconut oil for frying except once a long time ago and it had a sweetness to it which I didn't prefer.I think I'll stick to grilling, baking,etc and fry when I crave it.This way of eating is easy and I'm ready!
