The closest I've been to my goal weight! This is me (on the right) with my friend Kiki.
My goal is to be a fit, happy person who knows the meaning of consistency and self love.
Losing weight is hard
Maintaining weight is hard
Being overweight is hard
CHOSE YOUR HARD
I'm looking to create slow, steady changes in my life that alter my lifestyle and attitude so that I can be an active, healthy woman who is proud of my life and choices. I want to be a positive role model for those around me, and I want to be a model of positive body image for my students and hopefully, my future children.
I am hoping to get myself into the "healthy BMI" range, by losing 40 pounds in the next 5 months. (Beginning July 1st, ending December 1st)
I have been having hip problems that have inhibited me from running, but hopefully by visiting a specialist, practicing yoga, and working on my core and back muscles, I will be running a 5k by Thanksgiving.
I am scheduling my exercise into my calendar as appointments, giving myself the same consideration I give to others.
I am enlisting the help of friends and making choices that will put me among those with healthy lifestyles.
I am aiming to get 8 hours of sleep a night, drink 8 glasses of water a day, and track daily.
I'm 23 years old, recently home from a nine month stay in Ireland as a nanny! It was a wonderful experience and allowed me to meet people who were truly living life to their most active and their fullest.
As I was taking care of three children full time, I realized who I want to be as a parent. I want to be a mentally and physically strong woman who has the energy to be an active parent.

Welcome to the Partnership Accountability to the Finish Line team! We are happy to have you with our team. Please feel free to introduce yourself to the team, if you have not already done so. Be sure to read the thread: "Click Here: To help find a partner and learn what to do next". It will help you find someone who has similar goals, likes, dislikes, or someone close to your age if you prefer. You will both be able to support, encourage, and just be there for each other, while on your way in reaching your goals. Feel free to add your birthday or anniversary to our list under the "fun" forum.
If you need help finding someone or need help of any kind, please let me know, as I am here to help you in anyway I can. Hope you enjoy this team and are able to achieve any goals you might have on this team or any others you might join.

I see that you joined the Living Binge Free team awhile back. A very belated welcome ! We concentrate more on learning to eat sanely in all situations with all foods rather than directly on weight loss. Over time, we can learn to be happy with and even prefer lot less manufactured food and less food in general. I've put in over 4 years and lost about 40 lbs., about 21% of my former weight. It wasn't easy every second, but it's been totally worth it! Come check out our 21-day streak thread or the June thread, our most active ones or start your own!
Let us hold your hand while you get the strength to hold others'!
