Hey There! Thanks for commenting on my blog :) You always have something great to say that keeps me motivated. Hope you enjoyed the cottage! I'm going up north for the rest of the summer since I'm finally finished my summer school term. Maybe I'll start swimming for cross training work-outs. See if tri could actually be in my future ;)
How in the world did I miss you blog post about your hip and new necessary tests due to your age! In the US, women are told to start at 40 getting mammograms so I've had a few. It's uncomfortable but not really painful - at least that has been my experience. Not to the colonoscopy stage yet and THAT I am more scared of than my first mammogram! Don't you have to go under anesthesia? Have you already had it done? It's good that doctors nag us about it or I bet most people wouldn't do it! : ) How is your hip, and I had no idea a cortisone shot lasted 6 months! Wow! Good to know for the future, hopefully it is knowledge I won't need! Much better than surgery though for sure. I always notice that my age group (45-49) has twice the number of women running that the 50-54 age group and I can not figure out why! Osteoporosis do you think? My knees and osteoporosis really scare me - I take calcium pills in addition to my vitamin every day! Have missed you Chickadee! : )
Hey a few months back you commented about my MS asking what type. Im still early in it with only 4 lesions in my brain so its rrms. I am currently taking shots daily and working out pretty consistently to boot. I did the lumbar puncture and ended up in the hospital for 6 days because of a spinal headache but have been pretty ok since. I am having a lot of issues fighting the fatigue tho and its very frustrating.
