Starting at the Beginning

Hi, my name is Bonnie. This is my third time to join Spark People but I haven't been on in a few years. I have hit a new low of going over the weight I said I never wanted to hit: 300. Hi, my name is Bonnie. This is my third time to join Spark People but I haven't been on in a few years. I have hit a new low of going over the weight I said I never wanted to hit: 300. This past winter has been bad with all the snowstorms and I didn't do much except chase my two nephews around every day. Now I have made a new plan to start at the beginning. I was successful in losing weight in 2009, I went from 289 to 213 in a matter of about eight or nine months. I am not aiming for that fast of weight loss this time, but I want to incorporate some of my successes from that time period.

About me: I am 25 years old and am currently a distance learner student on summer vacation. I babysit my nephews, who will be turning 3 and 2 years old in the next few months, anywhere from 4-6 days a week for a total of 40-50 hours while my brother works. We FINALLY got a good double stroller for them at the end of May. I take them for a walk in it three to five times a week. I'm also taking walks by myself three to six times a week, maybe more if I do more than one in a day. I am also waking up at four thirty in the morning to do WATP, other walking videos, and/or kickboxing videos about three days a week.

My brother, nephews, and I live with my mom and stepdad in a small two bedroom house and it is very cramped. It can also be very stressful a lot of the time as I sleep in the living room. My sleep is interrupted pretty often and there is no such thing as privacy, but I try to keep my head up as much as I can.

Current Status:
BMCC488 There is something about weighing when you're half asleep... it can be quite confusing lol. I'm happy for my 1.4 pound loss :D

1st goal- 10.4 pounds, 299 by July 2, 2014 (reached June 25)

2nd goal- 30 pounds: 10% of remaining weight, 269 by October 15, 2014

3rd goal- 27 pounds: 10% of remaining weight, 242 by January 28, 2015

4th goal- 24 pounds: 10% of remaining weight, 218 by April 29, 2015

5th goal- 22 pounds: 10% of remaining weight, 196 by July 15, 2015
WILL BE UNDER 200 for the first time in at least 10 years!

WALKING:
*400 miles in 2014
*5 miles at once, slowly working my way up (3 miles as of 6/26/14)

My Program:
*2150-2500 calories a day
*at least 45-60 minutes exercise each day, 5-6 days per week
*at least 5 cups of water a day
*eat at least 3 fruits and vegetables a day
*try to make smart choices for each meal, smaller portions as well as healthier foods.

Personal Information:
I live in Northwest Indiana, where the weather is crazy and somewhat unpredictable.

Favorite movie types: horror and drama, but largely depends on how they're made
