My Goals:
My ultimate goal was originally 145, but I've decided 155 is more realistic, achievable, and maintainable for me.

I want to be happy and healthy and feel good about my body and myself.

I'm newly engaged (4-12-13) and I definitely know I don't want to have to buy a plus size wedding dress.

Personal Information:
I'm a 24 year old grad recent college grad with a Master's in Educational Research and Evaluation. I'm from Ohio but I am a Bobcat NOT a Buckeye.

I'm 5'8" and started my journey at 274.8 pounds.

A healthy weight for me would be from 121-164 but I'm aiming for around 155.

I'm getting married to J.D., the love of my life, on November 15, 2014.

Just catching up on blogs since I've been off-line for a bit. Congrats on your success with the Whole 30! I found it was a great way to change my relationship with food as well. Although I don't follow it now, there were several important changes I made because of it, and I imagine you'll find that as well when you're done. You look just FAB and your health and happiness shine through!

Thanks so much for the kind words and support!! I'm down 5 for the week and 7 since I started my plan 10 days ago! I enjoy reading your Whole30 blogs, I had wanted to try it several times but I was too chicken. I am on a different plan (Carb Nite Solution) for the second time... the first time I did not make it past a week. But what I am learning is it's forcing me to eat more whole foods LOL, so I guess that is a bonus! :) I said in my blog today that I haven't had the courage to post the details because every time I announce I'm doing a new plan, I end up quitting and feeling like a failure. So I don't have the courage to blog about it yet, but if I can do it for a month or 2, long enough to get some data (I'm weighing daily to see the fluctuations and documenting), and to form an opinon on it, then I will share the details. For now though I am focused on it, but it's only day 10 LOL! I am so glad you found a plan that you like and you are eating all sorts of healthy foods! Plus the scale is your friend and that's always a plus! :D Keep up the great work!!
