Thank you very much for your support and encouragement on 'it's ok to eat icecream'. I'm slowly finding my way through a maze of what works and what doesn't and receiving much needed support and encouragement along the way is a blessing. If we can get through one thought, one meal, one snack, it's one step towards breaking the cycle. Stay strong... I will too.
I forgot which "new" approach i might have said I might experiment with. I've actually just returned to my foundation, which is the NO S diet (5+ years). I'm just getting more footing with it again, though I wasn't actually terribly far off. I'm pleased with my progress and feel renewed. If I find it merits some tweaking, I'll try it out after several more weeks of being back in the groove. But this may be all it takes.
