Thanks for stopping by my blog and your support. I agree with you-- i can't stand when people try to tell me that their way is the only way. It's kind of ironic, but I actually had someone do that to me on Spark. About a year or so ago I decided to try out Paleo (i'm always willing to TRY something, within reason) and I blogged about my experiences with it. It turned out that it wasn't a lifestyle for me and I constantly had a drop in energy in the 2nd half of the day. Anyway, someone on spark decided to comment and question how I could possibly not like eating Paleo because it's all whole foods.... and this wasn't even a spark friend of mine, just some rando who randomly decided to comment on my blog. Anyway.... I was offended and PISSED that someone would try to tell me how my body should react. So yeah... different strokes for different folks, right? Oh, and sorry for the novel.

P.S. Congrats on the promotion!! SUPER happy and excited for you. Hope it brings you the happiness you so deserve. =)

Thanks girly for all the compliments, made me blush!! My boy was jealous that I got darker than him and everyone at work today couldn't believe that I tan so dark hahaha You can't get this kind of tan in the city summers.

I just figure if you're paying money to be there how dare people judge, i spent 90% of my vacation in a bikini & i ROCKED IT.

I ruined my fave Vans sneakers on that muddy excursion but it was totally worth it haha.

I would definitely recommend that resort so when ever you're ready I will happily give all the info you need.

Okay so last year for Lent I think you did no fried foods and I did no coffee.

This year I have 2:
1) No swearing (already happened 3 times this morning) redo
2) No processed junk, extra sugar, donuts, cookies, froyo, you get the idea.

10 miles is fairly significant.. I run a lot of distance races, but my sweet spot seems to be 8 miles. Long enough to feel worth it.. but short enough so you're legs aren't falling off lol. I track my runs using my Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS watch. It's my favorite running gadget ever.. can't live without it! It locks onto satellite so it will tell you how many miles you've gone, tells me my pace, run time, and tracks my heart rate so it will calculate calories burned. then you can plug it into the computer and upload the data.. see your pace, speed and distance graphically.. and even see a map of where you ran. It's a more basic model as far as GPS watches go.. but it works for me :)

The 1000 burpee thing was part of a Fitfluential challenge (fitfluential.com) I decided to do in Feb. I think they are doing one in March to run 100 miles.. but I don't usually get in more than 80/mo so I don't think I'll finish that one. I'll be tracking though!

Glad the snow didn't end up being too bad.. still got the day off though :)
