March 23, 2013 - I exceeded my goal! I weigh128 pounds - down 31 from November - and beginning maintenance today. I'll still be tracking and exercising. Now to find the balance point for calories... January 2013 - I finished 2012 well. I'm down 16 pounds, with another 13 still to go. Keep watching... I will finish well and this time KEEP TRACKING! November 2012 - This year hit me hard with my Mother's decline and passing as well as two falling injuries of my own. ...

January 2013 - I finished 2012 well. I'm down 16 pounds, with another 13 still to go. Keep watching... I will finish well and this time KEEP TRACKING! November 2012 - This year hit me hard with my Mother's decline and passing as well as two falling injuries of my own. I'm nearly healed now and am back determined to maintain only the pounds I want to keep. I will not be packing on the pounds over the next 2 months! Watch and bear witness... February 2012 - It’s difficult to come back admit I’ve failed to maintain my weight loss. I failed to stop the upward spiral even when it became impossible to ignore. Of the 30 pounds I lost, I’ve regained 26. Sigh. I’m ashamed to come back to my Spark friends in this condition, but it would be worse to stay away because I am embarrassed. I am beginning again, and will not stop checking in when I reach my goal. I need the trackers and the encouragement/challenge of checking in with others. Thanks for your support! I am determined... April 2010 - I'm down 26.5 pounds now (I weigh 131.5 pounds). That's less than my last goal weight. My DH wants me to stop losing now. I don't really care what number is on the scale as long as I look trim. So.... now I am off to learn the tricky skill of maintenance. Wish me luck... March 2010 - I'm 21 pounds lighter than last November. I miss my workout if it is a rest day. That means I've developed a new habit! I even exercise more if someone wants company on his walk. :-) January 2010 - I'm starting 2010 10 pounds lighter than 2009. I've been exercising regularly and am trying to find ways to make it less like a duty and more like a pleasure. I'm pleased to find that it doesn't make me as exhausted as it used to even though I'm exercising more now. Current favorite quote: "If hunger isn't the problem, eating isn't the solution." November 2009 -My work and all my hobbies are sedentary. I need to find a way to make exercise enjoyable so I will do it consistently.

Track food and exercises daily. Do at least 30 minutes per day of cardio plus some strength training several times per week. Walk at least 10,000 steps per day.
