Staying motivated

It's hard to stay motivated when you lack time. I'm a Sous Chef, so yes, I'm around food everyday. I work strange hours, sometimes mornings and sometimes afternoon and evenings. I also work with my husband. I like biking, swimming, walking. I would like to try some other things like tennis. I'm also trying to motivate my husband too.

My Goals:
Basically to stay on track. Iwas a member of weight watchers, and have lost the 25 pounds I wanted to, but I want to stay healthy and stay motivated.

My Program:
I try to walk or bike ride at least 3 or 4 times a week. Soon I will be back to swimming also. I watch and keep track of the food that goes into my mouth.

Personal Information:
I'm a Sous Chef by trade. I love to cook and enjoy finding new ways of cooking healthy food. I live in Florida but grew up in New York. I'm married with no children. Life is good.

Other Information:
For fun, I'm a writer. I belong to a fabulous writing group on line. I've written a novel and trying to find an agent. I'm finishing another first draft, and started a third. This may take forever. I also draw and paint. I enjoy baking but I don't eat desert and my hubby shouldn't either so I don't bake much except at Christmas.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. It sure was good to hear that news! Now I can move on and get back to normal! Whatever that is these days! emoticon
Oh, that woman, was just being a snob. I was trying to tell her why Yuma was doing that with his tail and she butted in and said they always do. HUH? Cracks me up when they say kitty kitty. Like wild panthers know what that means?! Then she was like, ( you can hear her say it on the video) you don't like your tail Yuma? Bob says it is like a pacifier and she turns her nose up and turns and walks off. Snob! She was right against me too, like trying to crowd me out...doing her camera and whiny Hi Yuma. Some people just don't like to interact and be friendly. Jackie said maybe she was jealous, Yuma doesn't act that way with her. Hehehe It is amazing how he seems to know us! Love that panther!! I have never seen him do that with anyone before...we have sat off away from him and watched as people came and went, even volunteers and he just paces and paces. We want to wait until we are alone with him/ As soon as we walk over and call out to him, he rushes over and does his talking, like in the video and does the rubbing the fence, etc. - most of the time anyway. Occasionally after visiting him just about every week for a year, he has had times where he wasn't feeling good after surgery or was too distracted with feeding time or nap time, he won't come up. emoticon
Have a good weekend. Always enjoy your pics on the feed. Sorry I haven't sparkmailed...just been busy and very tired from it all.
Still not quite feeling 100% yet, but I am getting there. emoticon

emoticon Thanks so much for stopping by! Hasn't this winter - or the lack of it - been weird? Today was the first time the thermometer reading hovered around the freezing mark, although we didn't get the snow that had been forecasted. Stay warm...or cool! - Mary
