Getting to Goal!

Welcome to my page! I joined SparkPeople for help losing the last fifteen pounds I want to drop to reach my goal. I love charts and tracking and message boards so I think this is the place for me! I've lost about thirty pounds since January 2008 and I want to keep the momentum going. Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm and advice with me!

My Goals:
To get to 125 lbs. by St. Patrick's Day.

To maintain a commitment to healthy eating and exercise.

My Program:
I am eating whole foods, mostly organic, in balanced meals. I'm avoiding white flour, white rice, and processed foods - especially those with artificial ingredients.



I am exercising regularly. I go to ballet class twice a week, do workout DVDs several mornings a week, and try to get outside on the weekend for hikes, etc. I have recently started cycling.



Personal Information:
I am a 35 year old, professional, married woman living in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire.

Happily childfree with a dog and a cat.

Thanks for your comments on my blog! You know, that part is very hard to grasp sometimes...trying to look at our actions and see if they will lead to the results we want. I'm not sure why there is a disconnect there for me, but there obviously is! I'm certainly a work in progress, that's for sure!

Aw, thanks for the stroller! emoticon That was sweet. I am thinking about looking on craigslist. It would certainly help me fit in more runs if I could take them with me.
