Personal Information:
I am not going to put my age #cos you have to keep updating it, so suffice to say that I'm over 55! I am married to a wonderful person called Pete who is 10 years younger than me. He has joined SP and is CATMAN124. Together we are going to make it!!!!!
My Mum is still alive and well and lives in North Wales and we visit her as often as possible.
I took early retirement from the Bank in 2006 after 36 years ( murderers get to serve less time than that )
I have decided that I must try to get as much weight off as possible and have lost nearly a stone in the past year which is quite good but need to do much more.

Hi
I would love to take off in the caravan but Ken neglected/failed/couldn't be bothered to book anywhere. Our nearest campsite that can take us at short notice is Exeter Racecourse, which is a bit tricky to get back to Norwich for dialysis every other morning.

I am now looking at booking somewhere local for 7 1/2 weeks time. I know that I am probably a control freak and that I micro manage. Ken says that I should let someone else take the strain but when I do, nothing gets done. Ken has proved himself to be bloody useless in the booking things department several times over the last 10 years and I'm a bit tired of it TBH. This is not the first holiday that he has failed to book anything for but when I say 'I'll book it and sort everything out' he gets huffy and his hideous sisters start ringing me and giving me a lot of static about not letting Ken book things. I cannot blooming win.

As well as the holiday, Ken has made no effort to pay the rent for a month - despite giving him the money. He's made no effort to advertise in the Exeter papers for an exchange. He said that he'd do it and it turns out that he's forgotten again. He's now gone to bed for half an hour. Been there since noon and I don't expect him up this side of 6pm. I'm a little bit fed up, quite frankly. He's just lazy lazy lazy. His sister's dote on him and his parent's let him get away with stuff as he's the youngest and the only boy. He's 50 now, and a man and it's about time he bucked his ideas up or his family can look after him as I am a hairs breadth away from moving out.

Sorry to be a right moaner but I'm at the end of my tether here and I need a break. Off to play nice soothing rock music on my guitar.

Hi Jude

I have decided to turn the job down as we have advertised for an exchange on the internet, in post offices, supermarkets and taken and ad out in the local paper in Exeter. Not so much as a nibble so we have decided that it's best to email the recruiter now rather then let him down nearer the start date, that way he can find someone to replace me in the intake.

Staying put is fine by me at the moment. I'd love to live in Devon but it's just not to be this month. We'll keep trying for an exchange though.

Hi
I think the migraine was caused by the cheese sarnie that I had. I have a bit of a hit and miss relationship with cheese. Sometimes I'm ok, sometimes I get a migraine. Actually that was the first migraine for ages and ages so the cheese butty is getting the blame emoticon
