I still live in senior housing but I moved from where I lived when I wrote that blog. I moved 2 two miles into a small 40 unit building, HUD housing where we pay 30% of our income for rent and it is very well maintained. right smack in the middle of a small shopping center and a mile away from Walmart, KMart, Home Depot, and a lot of other businesses.
We have a bus to take residents shopping twice a month but I still have my car so I seldom take the bus. People take too long to shop and I want to get in and out and come home.
We are halfway up a hill so if we get some flooding we are safe. 14 days ago
That's not bad, you're close to the bigger city. If I have to go to Houston it's not too far. It takes 4-ever to go from north-east side of Houston to southwest side. Houston is so spread out. 14 days ago
I was reading a couple of your blogs. Are u still in that apartment facility? My aunt lives in one in Virginia, west-virginia border. She loves it. She is 78, the spring chicken there. Lol. 14 days ago
You had your son at a good age. Not too young not too old. I live in New Caney Texas. About 30 miles north of Houston. Grew up in Houston, couldn't wait to get out of there lol. 14 days ago
