I am trying once again to lose weight and be a healthier happier version of myself. I have overcome a lot of obstacles that were preventing me from accomplishing my goals. Now I am recommitting to those goals and I am determined to reach them this time.

My Goals:
Long Tern Goal:
By April 1, 2014, I want to lose 79 lbs. so that I will have a normal BMI; my knees will hurt less; I will feel better physically, mentally and emotionally; I will have more self-confidence; and so that I can hopefully have a healthy pregnancy and be a fit and active mother.

How am I going to do it?
Eat more fruits & veggies

Exercise at least 10 minutes a day

Continue to drink at least 8 cups of water a day


My Program:
Sunday: Rest
Monday: Elliptical & Strength Training
Tuesday: Walk
Wednesday: Elliptical & Strength Training
Thursday: Walk
Friday: Elliptical & Strength Training
Saturday: Walk



Personal Information:
I live in Southaven MS.

I love to be outside but I sunburn very easily and its usually very hot where I live so I don't spend as much time outside as I would like.

I have been overweight since I was about 9 years old. I have tried to lose weight several times. I have managed to lose a few pounds only to gain back more. This time I am not trying to lose weight; I am trying to be healthy. I am trying to be stronger and eat right so that I will have more energy to do the things I love and live longer. I would also love to everntually complete marathons and triathlons. I have never been athletic (always last picked for team sports in school if I even played-- sometimes I faked sicknesses or injuries) so completing any type of race is a lifelong closet dream of mine. I would also love to be able to play tennis. I have no idea why I picked tennis of all of the sports but that is what I dream about.


Other Information:
Because I am worth it.
