My major goal is to adopt healthy habits for life.
I'm hoping to follow the Eat To Live nutritarian eating style. I'm also hoping to get into a fitness routine I can manage throughout life's transitions. By joining SparkPeople, I'm hoping to add that social support aspect to my program!
Hi! I just wanted to thank you for welcoming me to SP and for the helpful advice. I am going to check out that book and see what I get from it! It never hurts to try some new things! I hope you had a great first day at your new job :)
Thank you for the comment on my blog! You're absolutely right, the waiting and job search journey such a struggle, but just remember all the hard work pays off! Don't give up, you'll have a "big girl" job soon too! Also, way to keep up on the challenge! We're pretty much rock stars
Yes, I AM doing the Fab Ab February Challenge! It's easy to start off, but it gets hard fast. I feel that it won't be breaking new territory though until about the 20 pushup range. Holding a plank for two minutes I can't even think about! And doing proper sit-ups makes a difference; after about 30 of those I feel like I can't do anymore, when you go slowly and feel every muscle. Focusing on form will be a big challenge for me. Doing a lot of sloppy sit-ups isn't hard; doing them with proper form is. How's it going for you?
