have you ever experienced a moment where you don't fit into a booth when dining out, or don't fit into a college desk in class. Did they have to make special accomodations for you because of your size? No? Well I have. and I've had enough. I've been through this before. I've always failed. But I won't let myself fail this time. I have more purpose now.I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy last year and he needs me to lead by example. He needs me to be able to run around with him and play. Right now, at 260 pounds, I can't do that. I am plagued by heath issues and I hurt almost every day. But not for long. I am back at it. I've been eating clean and healthy for two weeks now and have lost 5 pounds so far. I won't let myself fail. There is only success in my future.

I'm keep my tips from when I lost 60 lbs and was doing well last time. They are here to help me as well as help anyone else that wants it.

The next day I went out and bought healthy foods and cut out red meat, refined sugars, most corn products, enriched breads, pastas, and to be honest quite a few other things. I eat a lot of salads, fish, chicken, vegetables, whole grains and probably should eat more fruit. I treat myself with low-fat frozen yogurt and I'm not going to lie, I have a little with no toppings every night or I have a one serving bag of 97%
--Never eat anything that is fat-free.There are always extra sugars or sugar substitutes in them that are harmful on the body. This does not include NATURALLY fat-free products. Choose low-fat options or go with the full-fat versions and use sparingly.
--Put your dressings in a seperate little bowl. You can find them at walmart/target or any kitchen ware store. They come in many sizes so opt for the ones that hold 1-2 tablespoons or get many different sizes and use for anything. When you eat your salads put your dressings in those and dip your fork into the dressing instead of slathering it on your salad. You will cut a lot of calories/fat grams this way.
--Look at the labels of what you think are whole grain breads. You are most likely eating enriched wheat flour and consuming unneeded high fructose corn syrup in your breads. Check the isle for breads that you see 100% whole grains and read labels and choose breads that only say whole wheat flour, whole barley flour etc. Try to choose a bread that also has flax seed in it, it's a good way to 'mask' a seed most of us don't like to eat. My personal favorite is Alpine Valley Breads Organic Multi-grain with Omega 3 and Flax. It is soft, chewy and just delicious. You feel full for much longer than eating most other breads.
--Most pre-packaged foods contain high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, or other corn products. They try to say in commercials that the body can't tell the difference between the sugars. What they forget to say is that your body can't tell the difference between REFINED sugars. It is all bad for you. Take the 5 minutes to peel a few different fruits and toss in a bowl. I like to mix apples, grapes, and strawberries when I DO eat fruit. It gets your your sugar fix and is healthy. Don't overindulge though, anything is excess is bad for the body.
--If you are an ice cream lover like I am search your area for frozen yogurt places and pick up two small frozen yogurts. Split those into 7 small servings and eat those over the week. It will help curb your cravings for the real stuff and is absolutely delicious. Need toppings? Go for graham cracker or dark chocolate mini-chips(and only one small scoop) if they have it. If there is a Golden Spoon near you choose them. Their finished product has pro-biotics, the active cultures that aid in digestion. I find their products to be a lot more satisfying than any other place I have been to and it's only 2.5g fat 120 cals for a 4 oz serving without toppings for most of their yogurts.
--There is a new line of oatmeal out called "Better Oats". I choose Better Oats Abundance in Apples and Cinnamon. It has oats, flax,barley, spelt, etc. It is far better for you that any other pre-packaged oatmeal and while I have two packets and is 5g fat total, it keeps me full and gives me energy to start my day. I add a slice of the bread I buy with a little organic strawberry preserves on it as well. If you don't want to add the bread, just put a piece of fruit on the side. I am a carb person, so it's how I push cravings away all day long.

My Goals:
Start December 26, 2014. I hope to reach my goal weight by March 4, 2016. My long term goal is to lose 110 pounds within that timeframe. However, if it is not met, it will not bring about failure to adhere to a new healthy lifestyle. I will push through until I reach my ideal body and health.
My short term goals are 10 lbs every month for the first I months and the rest of the weight split amongst the remaining four months.

My Program:
I take it day by day. I make sure that I am eating as many vegetables as I can. If I eat out I make sure where we go has fresh veggies or a fruit side. Please read my full introduction to know how I am doing it.

Personal Information:
Things to note about me. I have chronic Sciatica, a slipped disc and Fibromyalgia. These things limit the amount and what types of working out I can do. My results would be far greater if I could work out like most could.

Other Information:
My grandma is a huge motivator. I lost her summer 10' and I told her I would lose weight and graduate college. I already applied for my AA and am awaiting acceptance to a university. Next step, lose the weight.
