Not Giving Up on Me

This is not the first time I have tried to do this. It hasn't been the 2nd or 3rd. No matter how long it takes I will continue to work on a better me. It took me many times to try to quit smoking before I did and it has been a few years since I have completely stopped smoking.

This is not the first time I have tried to do this. It hasn't been the 2nd or 3rd. No matter how long it takes I will continue to work on a better me. It took me many times to try to quit smoking before I did and it has been a few years since I have completely stopped smoking.

Believing in myself is a challenge. Reassuring myself is constant. When I have set backs, they are tough and my self talk is awful. Working on these things for years now, I feel I am again ready to work on incorporating Sparkpeople into my routine.

Not being ready for public gyms, I work with Golds Gym Wii for 30 minutes 3 days a week and have just incorporated 20 minutes of Wii Yoga. I walk over 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day.

My food intake is an issue. Late night snacking, easy due to the shift I work, needs to stop. I am still working on that, it is better but not good enough.

So here I go :)

Exercise 3 days a week.....Boxing, Strength Training and Yoga

Drink 8 glasses of water a day

Waking up each day at the same time

Staying focused on small goals and then adding as I go

Having breakfast and coffee after exercises while reading sparkpeople.

As my son says....It is time for me. I need to give myself what I give others. Because I am worth it.

Glad to have you here! Late night snacks are our families downfall too! I try to make a huge bowl of popcorn cooked in coconut oil and a bit of butter topped with salt. I use to be the girl who loved butter melted on the popcorn! I find the coconut oil add just the right umph! My hubbys thing is ice cream, I like it but with celiac my choices are so limited. I like homemade pudding or candy bars. I think trick is to not restrict anything but have some and work towards less.
