My Goals:
"I want to lose weight and have more energy so I can do the teaching and traveling I need to do." I wrote that, and more, 7 years ago. Now that I have lost 70+ pounds and made more than a dozen trips to Haiti, I can say that that goal was a great one. I have the energy and travel is much easier without those extra pounds. And having a stronger core has really helped as well. I am still trying to lose those last 20 pounds and keep doing the work I have been called to do.

My Program:
I am currently going to the fitness center 6 days a week. I am doing step class and kettlebells. Every day I ride the spin bike. Once a week I do the stair machine.

I am watching what I eat carefully, and have recently added more protein to my diet.

I began the project on January 3, 2007 at 310 lbs and on September 22, 2008 I weighed 246 lbs. On this day I reset my goals and commit to getting down to my 220 goal.

Personal Information:
I am 61 years old and live in Shelton, WA. I have been the pastor of Shelton Christian Church for 20+ years.
I am married, 41 years. We have three children and eleven grandchildren. We also have a Haitian 'son' whose wife gave birth to their first child.

Other Information:
My also a skydiver. I love jumping from perfectly good airplanes.

My goal weight is in sight.

Hi, Bruce!! Thanks for stopping by my page! I've ventured further and further from goal, so I'm attempting to track and hold myself accountable again. It's rough maintaining!! LOVE that there's a core group of us here still sparking away...even if it's not here, we're still supporting through FB :)

I love reading about your motivations for doing this. I am a pastor's widow and I also hope to one day - not too far in the future - work for Him overseas as well as at home. Looks like you are doing well! I am just getting started. God bless you and your wife as you serve Him! emoticon
