Making a Slimmer-Healthier Me

Well I'm at it again. Every time I stop using SparkPeople I tend to lose my motivation. I'm back to 162 pounds after gaining to 168 pounds. That is more than I weighed with my last pregnancy!

I lost my job in August and have been anesthetizing myself with food and indulging in a pity-party. Every time I was certain a job was mine, I did not get it which made me more depressed.

I started back on SparkPeople in January and have lost six pounds so far. My job ...

I started back on SparkPeople in January and have lost six pounds so far. My job prospects are not much better but I can at least like myself again.

With the coming of Spring, my spirits are lifting and I'm getting more exercise out in the fresh air. With a better outlook I believe the right job will come or at least I will look and feel better when I go on these endless interviews.

My Goals:
I want to get slimmer and healthier because I am getting older and don't want to have some of the problems I see in some of my friends.

My Program:
Calories between 1200 and 1550.
Walk between 5000 and 15000 steps per day
Walk and Jog on the trails at my home daily for 30 minutes
Do strength exercises 2 to 5 times a week
