Learning To Live In Moderation

Hi! My name is Kim! I am 43 years old and have been happily married to my husband , for 25years.We don't have children, but we have three chihuahuas that we love dearly.
I am from a small town in Northeast Texas......I love living in the country!
I previously lost 20lbs. by making healthy choices and exercising.I still have approximately 50lbs. to go before I will consider myself at goal weight.
I welcome any support that is offered and look forward to making new friends here ...

As always a great loss to you. You are just 1 lbs from your summer challenge goal, that has to feel awesome. Way to go and keep up the great work.

Thanks for the little pep talk yesterday. It has been a tough week emotionally so I have been snacking more than usual. Today is a new day, today starts a new week. I CAN DO THIS!!!!!

Thanks for the encouragement, sous chef. I finally budged the scale downward a tad. I am very happy with this, as it is a direct result of a couple of days of healthy and fit living, and a sign that I have gotten myself back on track.

I'm at the gate, looking forward to this week's traveling with you and the rest of the fine group of Champions! We'll be in the sky soon. Let's go after a great week! emoticon

Thank you for deciding to come and visit my page today, and to read my "The Positive Side of Discouragement" blog! I have reached a plateau on my weight loss again, and I have been trying to understand and get past it.

I sometimes have difficulty facing Monday mornings because I know it's the start of a whole week ahead, but the last few weeks have seen no perceived progress, and I was beginning to become quite discouraged. As the week wore on, I thought others might be having the same difficulty, too - and so as I mulled things over in my head, this blog evolved.
I do hope that whenever you are feeling discouraged, you'll remember to stop and search for the "positive side of your disappointment".

I am happy that you found it helpful and worthwhile, and I hope it helped to put some things into perspective for you too, and gave you a new perspective - along with a positive spin on your day to help you finish your week with renewed spirit!
