I figure I have lost about 1200 pounds over the years and although I was pretty good at losing weight, I was even better at putting it back on. I think my old blogs have all the ancient info about what I have done in the past, but I am now more interested in the present and how to improve my future. After 50 years of dieting and at least 50 doctors telling me how, I finally found a wonderful Osteopathic doctor who is teaching me how to improve my health, lower my chronic pain, and regain my mobility by removing certain foods from my diet and replacing them with healthier options. My Goals:
To improve my health and mobility, lessen my pain, and live happily ever after with my soul mate. I also want to stop taking as much medication as I can, and as of 9-1-13, I have been able to get off all my blood pressure meds, my cholesterol pill, my anti-inflammatory drug, and most of my pain pills.

My Program:
Blood tests show that I am sensitive to certain foods that cause inflammation in my body. I have stopped eating those foods and have replaced them with more natural, chemical free choices. I am slowly beginning to increase my physical activity and hope to get back to hiking on a regular basis.
