Sherri, Thanks for the Goodie! Enjoy your trip to St. Augustine. My friend and I were there a few years ago for her 75th B-day when she drank from the Fountain! So much to do and see. Sadly, I have come to the conclusion that the world is no longer a very friendly place, so I am cutting back on my overseas trips, at least until I see some sort of improvement in the world. People always asked why I was so rabid to travel and I used to tell them that I never know when it will come to an end. Perhaps it has? Time will tell. Maybe this is just a passing cloud. We'll see. I do have a trip planned next week to Albuquerque to help a friend recovering from foot surgery and a trip to Myrtle Beach and Charleston in April with the Church group, so I am not becoming a hermit by any stretch of the imagination. We'll see how things go. Hope you had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

for your kind comment! I have been eating vegetables all weekend, craving them, haha!!!
Indeed, the tree could well be the American Bladdernut, it looks quite similar!
Sadly, no, no visit planned in the USA anytime soon. :( I am off to Armenia next Monday (maybe you misread it for America?).

Hi there! Thank you for adding me as a friend, and for the lovely goodie note! I also appreciate your comment on my Missy's photo very much. I'm sorry to hear about your Reva...she was a beautiful cat, I know you miss her. But I'm happy to hear of Riley's 8th birthday... sending birthday wishes to Riley! I hope Riley enjoys the day and that you do too. When I had my Miss, we used to do extra special things - extra park visits, treats, toys, visits with friends, etc. - to celebrate her birthday. People that know me would probably say that every day was "birthday" special for Missy but she was the love of my life. Anyway, I hope you all have a WONDERFUL day! Blessings, Karen

"If I had to select one quality, one personal characteristic that I regard as being most highly correlated with success, whatever the field, I would pick the trait of persistence. Determination.
The will to endure to the end, to get knocked down seventy times and get up off the floor saying. "Here comes number seventy-one!"

I didn't give pizza up for good either, and we've had our collisions...like on Good Friday, when we went to Chuck E. Cheese for a family outing with the kiddos, and my behavior at that pizza buffet did NOT make for a Good Wednesday on the scales the following week. My "give-ups" are not necessarily "never-agains..." but I have given them a back seat and don't eat them the way I used to. This will work for you if you work it, as they say, and I wish you well on your give and take!
