I'm living the lifestyle, eating & exercising like the slim, fit & healthy person I want to be; by body can't help but catch up, because I'm worth it, and I deserve it.

I've been painfully aware that I've lost large amounts of weight before, and gained it all back and more! I'm embarrassed I was 202 in 2007, 168 in 2008, 209 in 2010, and now I'm at 170. I've been painfully aware that I've lost large amounts of weight before, and gained it all back and more! I'm embarrassed I was 202 in 2007, 168 in 2008, 209 in 2010, and now I'm at 170. I want people to know that I gained 40 pounds, even though I was on SparkPeople. I know I'm not alone. Regain happens to other people, too. I feel for them, and want them to know that with the right kind of tools (mostly mental) you can lose the weight for the last time.

I'm 53, divorced and have 3 boys: 27, 22 & 15.

I follow Fat 2 Fit Radio. A blog & podcast for diet & exercise motivation.

I go to the rec center for group fitness classes.

And I listen to Inside Out Weight Loss for inner peace.

- Lightly Active 1788

I do use a brace for support as well. And it does help a lot! Thank you for the info. I will continue to use the brace and exercise emoticon .

Hello!

I am new to Sparkpeople; I took the initiative to add you as a friend. You are such an inspiration!! emoticon I have been trying for the longest to drop some pounds for my left knee emoticon . I do exercise 3 times a week at least.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I've been in the same boat with the C25K program. This will be my fourth or fifth time trying to restart it. I typically stop because of injury (shin splints) or just a busy schedule. Crossing my fingers that it works out better this time around.
