If your knee issue is due to worn cartilage in your knee then Gllucosamine/Chondroitin may help. Research on it is mixed with a lot of it saying it does not help. What it is supposed to do is slow down the wearing away of the cartilage and help build it back up, so it take time to work, at least a month or more. The studies I have seen that say it does work also state that the dose is dependent on weight. You need to take more if you weigh more.
What I have seen with myself is that when I do not take it, walking a mile a day my knees hurt. When I take it regularly I can walk 4 or more miles a day and my knees ache by the end of the day. For me achy knees at the end of the day and being able to walk a lot is much better than walking only a little and hurting. 354 days ago
