I am working on weight loss and general health improvement. I want to alleviate my osteoarthritis, lower my cholesterol count, sleep better, reduce stress, be able to buy clothes that fit--just to be healthier and more confident all around. JUST DO IT! My Goals:
To reach a healthy weight. To maintain mobility despite arthritis. To gain strength and endurance. To develop healthy eating habits. To lower my cholesterol count. To exercise consistently. To stick with a healthy lifestyle this time.
My Program:
Keep food journal; aim for 1300-1500 calories per day. Increase fruits and veggies. Do at least 30 minutes of cardio 4 x/week or more. Do strength training (20 minutes) at least 4 x weekly. Take vitamin and supplements daily.
