I retired from teaching. I knit. I have a wonderful hubby and two great kids and three fantastic grands, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. My smallest grandson fought and won hearts for five months.

My Program:
Well, I started on June 19, 2007 on Spark, but I had already lost 8-9 lbs. Then I had breast cancer, and after surgery, chemo, radiation, more chemo, and then a drug study, I am ready to recommit. I gained 30 lbs in one year because of the steroids and inactivity. So I'm starting heavier than I was in 2007. But not for long.

I have just retired, love to read, sew, knit, cross stitch, and spend time with my kids and grandkids.

and truth be known...today it's back up 2 lbs... but hey what a couple pounds among friends, right? It's hard work.. I'm retiring in 3 weeks - from the school district - but I'm not a teacher - secretary in the office... anyway.. I am nervous about retirement and keeping this poundage off! but will try really hard.......
