Yes, it has been a while since I updated this page! And I really want to change photos as I have many in my computer but always depend on daughter or daughter-in-law to help me with that. Maybe I will try it on my own.
Right now I am at weight that one weight loss company told me should be goal. But that is still overweight and I really want to lose 10 more lbs. to be where SP recommends.
I am very proud of the exercise I now get when in the beginning I could not walk for 5 minutes due to a bad knee and hip. Today I get as many as 130 minutes of exercise. Especially love the water aerobics, but also enjoy walking and the recumbent bike.
My husband of nearly 62 years supports and encourages me all the time. And I have just started challenges which I enjoy even though I am not a competitive person. But they do keep me on my toes. During the 56 days of the 2010 Winter 5 % Challenge I hope to lose 10 lbs., a real challenge for me!

My Program:
The Nutrition Tracker is my constant buddy as I use it faithfully every day. With my bad knee I didn't think I could exercise much, but now am up to a 40-45 minute walk and 30 minutes of riding the recumbent bike. Losing weight has certainly helped!

emoticon Just stopping by with my quote for Friday by Confucius:

"The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence."

Have a fabulous weekend! emoticon emoticon

Thank you Carol, yes, think I am lucky to go to all these places and see so much of the world!
I suspect people were eating a lot because I was a guest and they wanted to show they were taking good care of me! But the quantities on THEIR plates were very sensible. Also, all the food I had apart from the desserts (rarely served, usually fresh fruits) was very healthy. I don't think I saw any obese people. I should add I didn't see any of my colleagues eating snacks as we worked together. I was offered tea/coffee or water, not sodas, and never snacks. Finally, people walk a lot still, not everybody can afford a car... It all adds up. :)
