My Program:
Lots of exercise!
Staying within the Spark People's calorie allowance for my size, 1200-1500 calories.
I walk/run 4-5 times a week, with one long walk and bike 3-4 times a week, but not in the winter. Biking is my very favorite form of exercise though.

March 2012:
Completed a 2 week bicycle tour of Andalusia, Spain
September 2011: Completed a 2 week bicycle tour of Provence, France.
September 2010: Completed two back-to-back tours of Vermont with Vermont Bicycle Tours (VBT).
September 2009:
Completed a bike tour of the Napa/Sonoma Valley. California.
July 2009:
Completed the 50 mile part of the bike race, the Fireweed 400.
June 2008:
Completed the Mayor's Midnight Sun Marathon.

Thanks for the congrats on my fitness minutes! Now I just have to reduce my calorie intake a little more! Now since my back is being a problem, can't exercise as much as I would like...so trying to eat a lot less! That will be hard for this food addict! Hope your knee feels better soon and the treatment helps.

Your winter bike pic reminds me of the Iditasport endurance race that started last Sunday. Fat tire bikers are zooming along on the hard surface. One of my class members is in the foot division & wants to go all the way to Nome! She trains in the water because the impact of training ultramarathon distances on land would wreck her before she got to the start line!

Job hunting has not yet been fruitful, but I'm still hopeful. I'm feeling IT this time around and think that even if I have to return to AK to work on the boats that I'll be alright with my eating. I had the opposite problem when I lived up there. It was the summers that drove me nuts with the 20-some hours of daylight. I turned into an insomniac! Did you ever try a SAD light?
