WE can do this!!!

Even though I'm proud of the 40+pounds that I've lost since I've been on sparkpeople, sparking has improved my life in so many other ways that the mere fact that I've lost weight doesn't seem as significant (even though it is, for health reasons!). I'm just as so happy to be part of this wonderful community of friends sharing a similar journey!
You know what made the difference for me? The 5% Challenges . . . Summer, Fall, Winter, now Spring! They are awesome!

My Goals:
I try to eliminate processed foods entirely, and eat only whole foods. Lots of vegetables & protein, whole grains on occasion, and limited fruit (due to prediabetes)

My Program:
Attend Spin class 5-days-week, as well as Strength Training classes 3-days-week. Add extra walking & riding stationary bike in front of the TV when time allows.

Just a quick note to say thanks so much for the mini challenge. I am UP and MOVING this week. I was sitting for way to long each day in front of the computer or the TV. I look forward to getting more tips from you!

Thanks for the Get Up & Move motivation this week. I appreciate the boost! I'll try to give it a go. I AM sitting way too much with this cough. However, when I start to exercise it aggravates my condition. Hopefully, exercising for shorter periods as you are encouraging will be just right. Thanks again.
